Performance Planting

Design Brief

The clients of this country house had the hard landscaping elements already in place and wanted a planting scheme to achieve the look they were after.

We stepped in to offer ideas and after discussions as to colours and the type of atmosphere to create we developed this planting scheme to compliment their home.

The high performance mix of perennials and grasses offers a series of dramatic moments at key times of the year and there is always something to look forward to.

Here is how the garden looked before we began...

  • Elevated levels and a careful pallette of colours create drama

  • High performance planting

  • The rear aspect of the house

  • Filtered views to the lawn
